Three permanent works were produced for Wysing Art Centre’s 17th century farmhouse: Hand-printed and hand-drawn wallpaper using a 19th century Knowledge is Power / Liberty of the Press motif; A framed press clipping showing Eddie and Ruth Frow in the bedroom of their house, before they moved with their Working Class Movement Library into a former nurses home in Salford; and a permanent library, to be used and compulsorily added to by artists-in-residence.

Ruth Beale also co-hosted an artists’ dinner with Giles Round, featuring local, seasonal and foraged ingredients, and discussion topics for each course based on John Maynard Keynes essay titles (such as the exhibition title).
