Like Gods

Eight custom-built shelves housing over one thousand books. Like Gods (2021-2024) references HG Wells’ novel ‘Men Like Gods’ (1923) which takes place within a parallel utopian universe, acknowledge writers’ (and just general human) capacity to play god.

Exhibited at Attenbrough Arts Centre, housing the artists’ father’s collection of Sci-fi books, and at Swiss Cottage Gallery, housing the library’s entire Sci-fi section, and at Deptford Lounge, part of Lewisham Libraries.
